How to play After Dark

Cornhole played like HORSE. The leader shows you how it's done; you copy it. Can't keep up? Take a letter.

  1. Warm up.

Everyone throws once from the same spot. Closest to the hole leads first.

  2. The leader calls the shot.

A shot is SPOT + MOVE (plus a dance, if you dare). Call it out loud, then throw.

  3. Followers copy it.

Same spot, same move, same dance.

  4. Score it.

Use the table below. A Limp passes the lead to the next pig.

  5. Pull out promptly.

Take the bag off the board (or out of the hole) before the next pig goes. Bag left behind? Do-over.

  6. Spell P‑I‑G and you’re out.

Last pig standing wins. Everybody else buys the round.

How it works

The leader picks a move and throws. The follower has to throw the same move.On Top = on the board. Back Door = in the hole. Limp = a miss. If the leader gets on top, you need at least on top; beat it with a back door and you erase a letter (Clean Sheets). If the leader gets back door, only a back door keeps you safe. A limp as leader passes the lead. The leader also calls the distance: the board moves back, and farther away needs more power. Harder moves (more ●) speed up your meters and add wobble, but the Pig is more likely to miss when it has to copy them.

Select your move

Call it before you let go. Didn't call it? Followers may use any move — from the same spot.
